Our story began when our founder, Nick Colosi, set out to rehab his own elbow tendonitis and was frustrated by the high cost of the tools he needed for treatment. As a health and exercise physiologist, he knew he could create something better—so he did. His first product, a more affordable version of IASTM tools, helped him recover, and it helped others too.

But Nick’s journey didn’t stop there. In his 30s, like many of us, he started experiencing joint problems. He discovered blood flow restriction (BFR) training as a way to build strength and muscle without the strain of heavy weights — but the only products on the market were either outrageously expensive or difficult to use. That’s when he created SmartCuffs®, an innovative BFR tool that was more advanced, more user-friendly, and more affordable than anything on the market.
